This week really feels like spring and it makes us start thinking about all the things we want to do outside and around the house. For me it is time to get out on my bike and enjoy the weather with the family. People are out raking away winter off their lawns, kids are out on bikes, people are enjoying spring skiing and some people are starting to think about all the things that go into planning their summer festivals and events.
We had a great time at the Festivals and Events Ontario Conference in Niagara Falls and learned a lot. Many planners were shopping for new suppliers and many people were getting in touch with people they haven’t talked to since last summer. Quench Buggy was glad to meet so many people and look forward to providing our water stations to events all over the place this summer. Reducing the amount of bottled water sold at events can really help the garbage clean-up and go along way to adding value for your patrons.
As you plan for your festivals and events this summer remember to do your part in reducing the impact you have on the environment. Start a recycling program, implement composting, give priority parking to electric vehicles or people who car pool and last but not least book your water station with Quench Buggy.
We still may see some snow, but you can never start planning too soon.
